I chose this photograph because there is something interesting that this says about music culture and Sonic Youth is bad ass.

This photograph is interesting to me because you are able to have various views. There is the view of whats happening in the car, outside of the car, and in the rearview mirror.

I chose this photograph because I find self portraits to be very interesting in the way that a person chooses to portray themselves. I just really like Mapplethorpe's intense expression.
